Greetings in the name of Jesus!

Wherever the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is proclaimed and whenever the Eucharist is celebrated, there is the Church. The Church is here in Buckeye, Arizona. Welcome to St. Henry Roman Catholic Church.

Important Parish Updates

1. Public Masses in the Diocese of Phoenix and throughout the USA remain canceled until further notice due to the virus contagion. I will not speculate about when we can gather again, but do not be surprised if we will not re-open to the public until after Easter.

2. Confessions are held at their usual time. Weds. 4-6pm and Sat. 3-5pm. We will start using the outdoor plaza for better health safety, unless the weather does not permit.

3. The chapel is open daily 9am until 5pm. Please sit at least 10’ from other people whom you do not live with.

4. During this time, all Mass intentions that were scheduled are being fulfilled by Fr. Ryan and Fr. Kosco so be assured that we are offering Mass for your loved ones.

5. Donations to the parish can be mailed directly to the parish office: 24750 W. Lower Buckeye Rd. Buckeye, AZ. 85326. You can also donate simply by using your own online bank account. Nearly all banking institutions offer online “Bill Pay”. Simply send a payment to St. Henry and your bank will mail a check from your account at no cost to you or to us. You can schedule a one-time payment or a continuing payment. We do have our expenses in spite of this shutdown, but we are also very well aware that many, if not most of you, are being negatively affected financially with some already unemployed. God bless you in these days of uncertainty.

6. God is with us. Be not afraid.

The parish office will be open this week from 9am until 12pm Monday through Thursday.

The electric candles that musician Michael John Poirier was selling after Mass several weeks ago are available at the office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. $20 each. Proceeds support the music ministry of Michael John Poirier.

We are suggesting that parishioners turn on their candles at 8pm THIS Thursday, Friday, & Saturday during which Fr. Kosco & the deacons will be celebrating the Triduum Masses of Holy Thursday (Mass of the Last Supper), Good Friday (Veneration of the Cross), and the Easter Vigil on Saturday. All these Masses begin after sundown at 8 o’clock p.m. We suggest that when your candle goes on at 8:00pm, parishioners read the Gospel that will be proclaimed at each of these celebrations.

Donations to the parish can be mailed to the church, dropped off when the office is open, or parishioners can use their own bank’s online BillPay service and simply send a donation the same way that they pay bills online through their bank’s website.
